British Columbia: Moose/Grizzly/Wolf Caribou

Wolf Hunt

Wolves are very elusive creatures and are one of the hardest trophies
to harvest. Wolves can be hunted during all the fall or spring hunts,
however, the best time to hunt wolves is in the winter. This time
of year, wolves travel in larger packs on the frozen lake systems
looking for food. When hunting wolves in the winter, we work at
calling them in or find one of their moose kills and watch these sites
using one of our heated blinds. Baits are also placed in various
locations throughout the area for additional opportunity. Hunts are
conducted during the month of March and clients are equipped
with their own snowmobiles. Camps & Accommodations
There are three different main camps utilized for these hunts; all
of which are large log cabins well equipped for a comfortable stay
during this time of year. Starting point for these adventures
is Whitehorse, Yukon, with transportation provided to the
hunting area the day after arrival.
